The alto (or treble) recorder is the most important instrument within the recorder family.
This is quite understandable, because most of the recorder literature was written for the alto, which the English also called ‘common flute’. I therefor have various alto models to choose from, beginning with the basic alto up to the more exclusive Stanesby Senior alto.
